| We
are an industrial world leader in high energy density
plasma research. Our team of theorists, experimentalists
and diagnosticians develop state-of-the-art cold, warm
and hot x-rays for nuclear weapons effects testing. Our
recent ground breaking activities include very high current
(15 MA) and long implosion time (200 ns) z-pinch research
on all major US accelerators including Z at Sandia National
Laboratory, Decade Quad at Arnold Engineering Development
Center and Double-EAGLE, a Defense Threat Reduction Agency
test facility at L-3 Pulse Sciences. This team also develops
advanced diodes for warm and hot x-ray applications.
In
addition to high energy density plasma research, we
also research and develop atmospheric plasma discharges
for homeland defense applications. We have designed
and built plasma devices for chemical and biological
agent defeat and building protection.
Our
staff provides end-to-end research solutions to technical
problems. We turn ideas into laboratory and engineering
prototypes ready for mission-specific applications.
